Another Clipping

This weeks Hereford Journal delivered yet another nice interwar military photo, this time of the Royal Gloucester Hussars on a visit to Ross-on-Wye.

Can anyone identify the armoured cars?

  3. Interesting photo, thanks for sharing. I recall the army did something similar in Great Yarmouth during the 70's. Imagine the fun a wargaming nut like me had as a kid as we followed a troop of Saladin AC's into town. =)

    1. Reminds me of the time when I worked as a general dogsbody at the local blacksmiths as a kid - there were some military exercises going on nearby, and we found ourselves travelling to our next job in the boss' Fiat van, sandwiched between two tanks - a very unsettling experience!
